Alright, so I've been hating my hair for quite a while now and enough is enough!

I want something refreshing, so decided on getting a style like

Is this possible? ^^

My hair is very thick, and heavy. Here's a pic of me (don't judge the pose :PP)

All sorts of help is much appreciated!

Try using thinning scissors (they're the kind of scissors with tiny notches cut out, the kind that almost looks like it has combs instead of blades). Used correctly they'll take a lot of the weight out of your hair without losing the length which will make it much easier to style.

Alright, so what should I do to get it like the kakashi pic? And I am thinking of bleaching my hair, would just bleaching it get it to look like that color on the kakashi pic or would I have to use extra dye, like the virgin white from T&S?

So it's been a while since I asked about help for this hair, and you gave me some good links and stuff.
As I am a person with a rather dull imagination, I can't see how I'll manage to get my hair to look like this.
Can you give me a possible step by step instruction on how you would've done this, please?

    Aenaron.

Well with Adam's hair I shampooed it (no conditioner). Next step was to blow-dry it on a high heat on a fast setting to make his hair puff up. Move the hair dryer in every direction, and especially dry from below to make the hair really stand out.
Put a small amount of fibre putty on your finger tips and scrunch into the hair in a grabbing motion grabbing the hair away from your head. You should have a kind of mad scientist look at this stage. Put a bit more fibre putty on your finger tips and tease out some spikes at the end. Finish with a bit of hair spray to keep it in place.

Fibre putty... odd question maybe, but what exactly is that? Is it a different word for wax / clay-like stuff?

It's kind of gluey stuff. V05 and Bedhead are a few brands to look out for.
