My hair is currently a 50/50 mix of SFX Blood Red and Cherry Bomb which i guess..looks like this most of the time though starts off very bright and fades to the orange in my userpic when i cant be arsed..
*i think it fades to that orange due to the red tint that was used prior to the SFX dyes*

and so.. i've been thinking of getting one [or many more] undercolours. I'd like a rainbow at some point in time but for now i thought perhaps just a couple of extra colours underneath the red so..could anybody help me along and suggest anything? not pink..
[personally was thinking a purple [not violet] and some sort of deep blueyturquoise] perhaps..
i'm terrible at visualising things..
so if you have any good suggestions for those colours that'd be great too..

and what is bleeding/fading of multiple colours like in your experience?

Thank you :) Jess

also.. does anybody remember the post in which someone wanted to know what colours a girl had used in her hair..she had a strange blueishturquoise and purpley fringe and deep red in the rest of her hair and was wearing a yellowish green top.. heh..ring any bells?

Purple definitely. Some turquoise would also be nice but I think for that to work then the majority of the under colour would need to be turquoise since the red is so strong. You'd need to do a hell of a lot of bleaching to get enough red out for the turquoise to look turquoise but I think it would be really nice if you did it.

The red is really strong and if bleach likely to lighten as far as orange before damage in my humble opinion. Suggest if bleach the final result would be a color to compliment the red like purple or blue. When washing the undercolor likely to mix with the undercolor and dominate the undercolor if light.

Since your hair is red and fades to orange you'll have to bleach it to blond if you want to get any blue/green colours, otherwise it will turn brownish. I agree that purple would be your best choice and it may cover the red colour without bleaching (do a strand test to know).
