Current Hair: A faded purplish mess
Posted 8 months, 1 week ago

I finally got my hair blue and purple. Actually, I had it done almost a month ago but only now got around to getting some pics of it.

Initially, I did half my hair SFX Electric Blue and half MP Purple Haze. The Electric Blue showed up amazing at the freshly bleached roots and a weird greyish at the rest. The Purple Haze looked BROWN with only some bits of purple. Weird since it was on faded fuchsia (posting a pic of that too). So since I hated it and washing it didn't improve it, after a week I went over it with SFX Deep Purple. It came out a nice dark black/purple and is currently fading to brighter purple. I'm quite happy with it. Makes for a nice winter hair colour . Also dyed purple the parts where the blue didn't come out well, so now I got about 10cm of blue roots and the rest purple.

For some reason my sister's camera wouldn't pick up the colour, she had to over-expose it to show up as it did, else it looked black, but I think it still looks better in real life.

SFX Electric Blue and Deep Purple... an awfully windy day
MP Fuchsia Shock... an awfully sunny day

that turned out beautiful!!! i'm more partial to blues and colder colours, but i absoluetly love the MP as well...very very vibrant. the blue and purple is bloody fanstasmic! the colours blend in well together.

    Thanks all! ^_^
Yeah, I suppose my hair is in rather good condition considering what it's been put through. I get some breakage when I brush it but I'm a bit reluctant to let a hairdresser cut it. So probably going to give myself another uneven trim one of these days, hehe.

The red colour was actually more pinkish, but the camera wouldn't show it properly. It even looked purple in indoor lighting when I first dyed it. Amazing colour, lasted 2 months. Probably going to use it again.

Both photos have look like great results with different colors. The red is very hard to get and looks very vibrant and healthy. Thanks for posting both photos.

Hmm I think I'm gonna try and see if I can find any other pics of the Fuschia Shock, cause this pic made it look too red while it was more on the pink side I think.
