I redid my hair since the Deep Purple was fading a little bit and my roots were showing. The roots I had colored with just the Deep Purple were beginning to go more natural.

The Cherry Bomb covered the whole mess pretty nicely. It's a nice burgundy color, with a pinkish undertone. I am interested to see how long it lasts, especially on the roots, which were about 1/2 inch long (including some that had a tiny bit of purple left in them

I left the color on for about an hour or so while I watched tv!

Nice! You always suit burgundy tones. Usually cherry bomb is a bit more red than that but the leftover purple gives it a new depth.

The color looks terriffic and a great idea. When my burgandy fades a bit more, I would like to try Cherry Bomb. Agree with my Jude, the color pictured has depth. Keep up the fun.

Yeah, my husband made a comment about "pink" hair. I'll probably bleach and use a red the next time around. I've just been a bit lazy and then I keep having job interviews, etc., so I don't want fire engine bright red, neon red hair for that.

My last interview I had slightly purple hair, but it wasn't any more noticeable than some of the less natural permanent hair colors, so I didn't think it would be an issue. Plus, it was in a very regimented environment where they were mass interviewing hundreds of people. They don't even really make eye contact with you (let alone value grade your hair)!

I've used Cherry Bomb over bleached hair and really like it. I think my result looks a lot like Burgundy Wine does right out of the bottle (over bleached hair).

I love the way that looks, and the colour really suits you!

It's great that employers don't even mind you having purpley/red/pink hair :) I did manage to get into a call centre last summer with blue and orange hair, but I doubt I could do much more than that and keep my hair as it is! This summer, I was thinking of trying clothes shops... maybe they'll appreciate having a cashier who looks different. :D (Having said that, I'm determined to keep my chelsea hawk until I'm old and wrinkly. If I grow it long enough I should be able to hide the shaved sides pretty well :))

Ha, ha, ha...I was just thinking how I should grow out my hair into a bob (once again). I haven't gotten my hair cut for a couple of months now and it really shows. I'm getting it cut this weekend, but I am going to keep most of the length and just trim up the back and have the barber give it some style.
