I had been dying my hair black for about a year, and decided I was bored of it.
I got some bleach (I don't remember the brand, sorry!) but it worked amazingly well.
I dried it, and went at with a light blonde from the local supermarket. (brand was L'Oreal)
Also, my natural colour is a light brownish-red.


Some colour is in there, so those patches turned up very light in the end.
And here it is with natural lighting, a week later!

    Nice job, but it looks like your hair could use a little TLC especially at the ends.
    That's always the case with bleaching though, it's such a necessary evil...

    Yeah, I've been meaning to leave in some conditioner overnight, but it keeps slipping my mind. And I'm not really ready ready to cut it again.
    So I will wait. : D

    ...are you kidding?! haha. I had my ahir black for a brief stint and I've bleached it all out 3 times now and there are STILL places where it looks like a calico cat!. I'm hoping the fishbowl blue will cover it up.
