I just wanted people to know if you are looking for a decent "color shampoo" system, the Quantum Riveting Reds shampooo and conditioner have been working well for me. I've used them with "natural" reds as well as my Deep Purple (since I wanted it to get more red tones if possible) and now with my Cherry Bomb. It seems to keep the color from fading as much. I can tell a difference from when I was just using regular shampoo & conditioner.

You leave the shampoo on for 2 minutes and I also leave the conditioner on for an extended length of time. On the days I don't shampoo, I "wash" with the conditioner.

Of course, this only works with colors that are fairly compatible with red, but I will be purchasing more if I continue in the red/burgundy colors. It's available at Sally's and online as well.

Thanks for the info. Did you notice whether it added red tones to the deep purple?

It was hard to tell, actually, since the Deep Purple was colored over burgundy to begin with! The color result was very nice, though, even at the end.

I should have taken pictures, but I was in a "hair dying" mood and dove right into the whole process without thinking about it. For whatever reason, when I'm depressed or feeling down, changing my hair color helps (and covering my roots always helps)!
