I'm planning on dyeing my hair Flamingo Pink, using LaRiche Directions (which my fab roommate got me for Christmas).

I have one tub of the stuff. My hair's pretty short now, shorter than jawbone length (see picture), but in the past, when I've dyed my hair or had my hair dyed, I've noticed that I have a heck of a lot of hair. Hairdressers have also mentioned this to me. Is one tub going to be enough? It looks sort of tiny to me...

So yeah. Am I being paranoid, or do I want to order another tub? Merci beaucoup!

I have pretty long hair and as I've been told by hairdressers I have quite a lot of it, but it doesn't show cause it's straight. I usually use 2 tubs of 118ml for my hair and I've even managed to dye it with one tub (not excellent coverage, but pretty well), so I'm guessing that you should be able to dye it with 88ml since your hair is pretty short. Just put enough so that all hair has some on, and if when you're done you have some left go over the parts that you think don't have enough dye.

I'd use a tint brush so you can avoid getting it on your scalp, ears, and neck in order to waste less dye.

Another tip: apply to damp hair. My hair is really long now and I find I get a more larger and more even coverage when I apply to slightly damp hair than bone dry hair.
