While browsing some site or another the other day, I came across instructions for making clip-in extention sets. It seems like a good idea, as it would be much cheaper to make my own than try to buy some. The problem is that I need the extentions to match my hair (which is currently a dark Fishbowl-esque colour with neon pink). I looked at some human hair wefts at Sally's and they have some that aren't too horribly expensive, but none of them are pale enough blonde to be dyed and I don't want to mess around with bleaching hair that's not connected to a head. I have found some online that are pale enough blonde, but they are well over a hundred dollars for one strip.

And so I am left with one option: using synthetic wefts. I don't really mind having to use synthetic as it is cheaper and I'm not planning on wearing the extentions everyday for the rest of forever, but I'm back at the colour issue. I know that Amphigory is good for cheap synthetic weave, but unfortunately, they only have one shade of blue which is much darker than I am looking for.

So here's my actually question: Does anyone know of a good place for buying synthetic wefts in unnatural colours without spending an arm and a leg?

I got the ones used the the tutorial for less than £20 (probably about $35) at Afrocare. They're in the UK but a lot of the shops geared towards afro haircare will carry a good range of wefts in a variety of colours.
The problem with synthetic hair is that there are hardly any manufacturers that make anything like a fishbowl colour. You'll either get something aqua or more blue but not quite fishbowl so human hair is probably your best bet.

Schnapps. I was hoping to be able to avoid human hair. I'll definately look into the afro haircare stores, but I'm probably just going to redye my hair a darker shade of blue, as the turquoise-esque colour is already starting to go.

    Thanks much for the info.
