Just a short little question I posted on the end of another topic, but I dunno if anyones seen it and I'm actually DYING to know.
So here it is,
Does going white kill your hair? Obviously it depends how you get there, and you shouldn't bleach your hair to white. But what if I got it done professionally? Will it hurt It less then doing it on my own?
Oh and one more thing. Do you treat hair the same way you would treat any onther unnatural color? Or is it more fragile?

You'll need to use UV protection products as the hair is more open to damage without colour.
When my hair was white it tended to feel a bit dry so use good conditioners or maybe some of those clear shine things like Beyond the Zone does.

Yeah that sort of thing might help kind of fill the hair but having not used them I can't vouch for it.

Ohh okay.
I don't know about going white yet though. I wan't like a WHITE, not a white-blonde, but I don't want to absolutely kill my hair.
I'm in need for somethign drastic since my cut is kinda plain, but I have no clue.
