so today i dyed my hair with crazy color's lilac ontop of my hair which was white at the bottom and about 3 inches at the top a very very light blonde.. anyway the tips have gone a nice colour but most of it has gone a greyish green colour and its really unpleasent :| it gets greener at the roots as well, so my hair is really 3 colours... and its yellowish blonde under my fringe and at the back :| i dont understand how its happened but i duno what to do, as i can't bleach my hair at the moment cos it's very damaged.... i'm a bit scared of going out with my hair like this but saturday is a big day for me, would you reccomend dying my hair a bright red colour? would it actually work over the lilac? or would it go purple?

It sounds like your hair wasn't light enough for the lilac at the top. Most people who bleach their hair end up with lighter ends so that's why it took ok on that part of your hair.
Dyeing it red should cover without any problems. Do a strand test to be sure but as long as the greyish colour isn't very strong the red should cover it.

the tips of my hair were that light that they were slightly purple after using touch of silver, i didnt think my hair could be a lighter blonde before it being completely white,

anyway thanks, ill give it a shot, altho the dye was a lot darker than i expected
