I finally used my hot lava. used about a half bottle, left it in for probably 30 minutes. I threw it over my multi-colored highlighted low lighted mix of blondey, redish, brown hair and i love how it turned out.

not the greatest pics but you get the idea!

Ooh it's got like naturaly looking highlights.
My hair was red a couple weeks ago but I didn't take pics and for some reason I decided i didn't want unnatural hair anymore so I dyed over with natural red brown.

Now I think I'm retarded. I miss color.

I like it a lot more than I expected to. The natural red tones from before were super faded, so I figured throwing some SFX over would be fun. It'll only be around for about a month since my friend who did the highlights is in cosmo school and is using me for a project :) . free salon color and cut? yes please. lol.

    I love the effect you get by dyeing over something more natural looking. It gives so nice highlights and lowlights. Nicely done!
