Right, I have a plan. I want my hair orange but not neon orange! My hair is white blonde right now, if I put Naplam over it its going to be seriously neon, so I was thinking maybe I should put a light auburn hairdye on my hair to take it down a couple of notches then put napalm over it to brighten it up? I will probably want to go back blonde after a couple weeks/months...will it be hard to get back blonde? I've heard red is the hardest dye to get out but the 'natural' dye is a light ginger, so I was wondering how hard that would be to bleach out? Any help would be great! Should I just bite the bullet and dye my hair Napalm Orange straight away? Hmmm...

In my experience, when Napalm Orange gets bleached out, the hair tends to go a bit yellowish. I was able to color over it with a copper color one time (after bleaching) and with a medium blonde toner another time. Personally, I'd say "go for it". Napalm orange is a great color. Only thing I don't like about it is that it does not cover my roots, so if I have any when I use it, they stay.

Check out my 'showoff', though. I did Napalm on the back 3/4 of my head over a copper color. It is still bright, but not 'neon' bright.

I'm not sure about using the auburn being a good thing. It's a lot to put your hair through and might be hard to get rid of when you want to go back to blond. You could try toning down the orange by mixing it with something. I'm trying to think what would tone it down... maybe a tiny bit of green would do the trick. Would definitely recommend a strand test before trying that.
