I have off black hair w pale blonde highlights. i had some of my blonde highlights colored BRIGHT red [with redken high fusion color] last thurs. ive washed it once since-- a lot of color faded, bled.

i need to color over this ASAP. i just got a job interview. soon to be elementary teacher--funky hair not allowed. :(

i want my pale blonde highlights back. HOW to get rid of bright red dye? im going to my salon and want them bleached over. but i hate hate brassiness....and cant have them pink. will the bleach lift the color? or will i have to color with a something darker? any tips for ditching the red without wrecking the rest of my hair?

thanks. [in advance.]

Hate top burst a bubble but the best will proablly get trying to bleach bright red is a birght or faded pink. Suggest dying the red with a dark auburn to look more "natural". or even the same shade as the black. I have been looked at funny for having burgandy hair to copper red applying for jobs. Complimens on the color but never the job. Guarantee you will be looked down upon if have such contrasting light and dark hair at the interview from my own experience. Suggest looking as natrual and covering the red with a red color close to the black like dark auburn. Then suggest after a few years of working with a solid foundation in the job trying some colro shade or shades you like as long as does not bend their rules.

Just cover it with something temporary like that L'Oreal Colour Pulse stuff.
That's what I'm going to do when I have to get a real job.
Because if I don't get hired at least my hair can go back to the way it was.

Thanks-- I had it colored over today with a daker color. It seemed to cover the red completely.
