I hear that in California, a lot of things have signs on them that say they may cause cancer. Everything from a power cable/plug thing for a computer (just the cable and plug, not the rest of it), computer equipment genrally, and sometimes, whole buildings (it's easier to put a sign on a building than on everything in it
).
I guess, it's good to know the risks, and if they scare you then don't use them. I wonder what other things like hair spray get on the cancer scale? You breath that more than hair dye...
Yeah, California is a state of total nuts. And there are infact buildings with cancer warning on them. A local fast food place says right outside the drive thru window something about how parts of the building may cause cancer from prolonged exposer. Its really something.
I mean no one wants cancer of course, but you cannot avoid all risk factors. Such things like putting plastic in the microwave, smelling artificial butter fumes, and putting metal in the freezer are supposed to cause cancer to...but really, has anyone ever gotten cancer from it?
Also a lot of shampoos, hairsprays, makeups, perfumes, you name it are risk factors as well. It's really ridiculous. If a person takes it too seriously they wouldn't be able to live. Avoid the stuff that you know will put you at a high risk, like smoking and snorting asbestos.
My friend's grandpa was a camera man and he was hired to film the bomb tests in Utah back in the day. He got some strange form of cancer that you can only have if you come in contact with nuclear waste. Nice huh.
