    I always wash my hair a day or two after dyeing and it never fades that quickly.

    I'm not sure of the exact amount to mix into conditioner maybe like 1/3 dye to 2/3 condtioner? shouldn't have any sort of weird reaction since its a veg dye, those tend to be pretty conditioning on their own.

    I've got an Aveda color sun protectant foam - its a lil pricey ($14 I think?), but its lasing forever, you don't need a ton of it, it dosen't weigh hair down. there are a ton of other ones out there- Matrix, Pureology, Paul Mitchel for some more expensive brands off the top of a websearch's mind, lol. Garnier, Aussie, John Frieda, Pantene, Got2B - I'm pretty sure most of those brands who are really beachy or have a lot of color products should have some protection stuff as well.
