As opposed to getting it thinned, I be more inclindes to find more suitable ways to wearing it up. When I'm not at uni/work I wear mine in a headwrap to keep the heat down

I like pigtails, either high or low on my head, with my fringe hanging out. Or, just one high ponytail with a fringe hanging out. Then I put ribbons over the elastic bands, or a pair of goggles over my head, and voila :)

I've had long hair all my life, and maybe that's part of why I've never even thought of going short. I always think that I'll regret it later and/or I'm just too chicken in the first place to lose my beautiful hair :D

It's been such a part of me that I don't even think of its length until people say to me "Oh, your hair's so long!"

Well personally...because I can't afford to go to a hairdresser! :s

Never wanted to get them short. I just buy some creams and hair repair products to keep them in a good health. I wear them either just like they are, or in a high pigtail with front streaks and sometimes get some caught into tiny hair clip for some streaks to fall down at the front.

Honestly, it's easier to care for at waist length than it was short. I don't need haircuts every month, I don't have to keep up with my roots, and it's easier to wear it up than all the fuss a short style needed.

As for growing it out, I was tired of short hair upkeep so I used a whole lot of barrettes and funky pigtails to get me through the dreaded inbetween stages.

I honestly don't know how you people with long hair do it either. I grew out my hair for 3 years and then cut it and donated over a foot and a half to locks of love. It's been short ever since. I can't seem to stop myself from cutting it when it gets to that inbetween stage. I miss my long hair.
