In the realm of cars...
Last year on Friday, Oct. 13, I crashed my car on the way home from school. I totalled both my truck (though at the time it looked like I'd only broken a headlight, turns out I bent the frame) and the other car. The people in the other car were fine (so was I except for emotional trauma) but insisted on going to the hospital because some IDIOT of a witness told them too. So I had to pay their medical bills on top of paying off their car (piece of junk, I think we gave them $1000 and called it even) and repairs on my car because our mechanic didn't write it off.

To top all that off, my court date was on Halloween. I hadn't had my license for 6 months so it was an automatic court hearing. Very scary at the time but I think it's pretty funny now.
