Well as you know, I got a celtic heart a while back - thanks for the advice on that whole upsetting subject btw.

As for new projects my fiance and I are planning on getting wedding band tattoos- We were going to do it as a cheaper christmas present alternative, but forgot and bought eachother presents, lol, so now we can't afford it. So we're thinking valentines day now. They're going to be based on the irish Claddagh ring - since we're both irish and scottish. He also gave me the ring for our first christmas together, this year is our 3rd. He's going to do the heart and the hands, and i'm doing either just the heart or the heart and crown. it'll be tricky since I have teeny hands.

he's also drawing me a claddagh that i'm planning on getting somewhere midback. one hand is going to be feminine and the other gauntleted and masculine. he's drawn it out a few times, but rarely shows the sketches to me, because he gets embrassed and nervous since its something important (he won't STOP showing me his sketches for his upcomming webcomic, lol).

:-) I love tattoos! My next one (once I have the money, aka right after christmas) is the dog Zero from Nightmare Before Christmas. It's going on my upper leg. I'm so excited, it's going to be my first color tattoo!

Ever seen these NBC tattoos? Awesome. I love the movie. I got to see it in the theatres when it was released, but at the time, there was very little interest and almost NO merchandise. All that has changed of course. I remember when the watches from Taco Bell (I think~~~some fast food place) were selling for about $50 in collectible stores. Now you can get a really nice watch for under that price.

Please post pics when you get that done. I'm sure it will be great! I can't wait to get inked again, either.

I've been planning to have a new tattoo for months and, despite working in a tattoo studio, couldnt find anything that really inspired me! I was shopping and stumbled across this little skate shop that had deisgns on the walls and on one wall was several birds flying, but all in swirly outlines. A bit like the outlines for stained glass, but much more detailed. Ive always loved the idea of just outlines for tattoos so now its the perfect design for it! I was thinking of having the birds going from my hip, up my side/ribs. Another great thing about this plan is that when I showed my boyfriend what I was thinking of (which is nerve wracking because he's not so keen on me getting more tattoos), he loved the idea so much he wants the same designs for himself! Thats kinda cute! :D
Very excited about these tattoos!

I just got my most recent tattoo a few months back, it's four stars with stardust done in blue, pink, green, and purple on the inside of my wrist. My husband is planning a dragon on his forearm or upper arm but I've gotten two tattoos in the time it's taken him to plan one. I would post my picture of my wrist but I think I would have to start a new thread yes? oh well.

Color makes you beautiful, so taste the rainbow.

I am currently in the middle of my project. I guess its a kinda of sea theme, mythical creatures maybe. My family and friends calls me a mermaid so I had a mermaid tattooed on my back over a year ago now. i have lots more to be added though, but i draw them myself and it takes time to get them right and then to save the money. I have a great tattooist though who is great and helps with all me ideas and we draw together. The mermaid will be extended around my front with a sea background, and a shark coming round my hip. I am now preparing the second mermaid I am having on my foot and leg. I'm waiting on the octo-woman I am having on my shoulder too, have octopus half woman, shes the sh**.

I also have paw prints in some random places, they are just a bit of a joke.

I'm doing so badly at Uni I am also considering going into the tattoo business myself cause I draw for a lot of people and get payed to do it ... which is nice

The "sea theme" tatoos sound very cool.

As for me,I ended up being broke and not getting my tattoo with my Christmas $$$ (it went towards vet bills, ugh). I am still planning getting this one, and I have a couple of others I am working up as well. Don't know when I'm going to have the money, though. I expect to get some birthday money in a few months, so hopefully there are no emergencies this time.

I'm in the extremely early stages of planning a quarter sleeve starting at my shoulder. I have several themes I'd like to include that mean a lot to me but I'm not sure what form they'll take just yet.

I want something for my Irish heritage. Both of my Irish grandparents are dead now and they were such a huge part of my life and a massive part of who I am now. I'm thinking of including shamrocks (my grandad always had shamrocks sent over deom Ireland for St. Patricks Day). Similarly, I'm thinking of having something to do with Catholicism. I'm not a Catholic now but I was raised as one and rather than being my religion, it's a part of my childhood I look upon fondly. I loved going to church with my grandparents but I'm not sure if it'd be disrespectful being as I'm an atheist!

Photography: it's what I want to do with my life. I'd like maybe some 35mm film winding around and about the tattoo.

Music: I'm not sure what exactly, but music is hugely important to me. But I don't want a 'band' tattoo as such.

And maybe some cute little filler things that I love like dinosaurs and cupcakes and stars.

I'm pretty sure I want the colour scheme to be green/blue based.

Like I said, it's in the very early stages!

I've had several tattoo thoughts over the years, but I probably won't get any of them done.

The one tattoo I WOULD get done is one of my beloved Quetzalcoatl, my bearded dragon. He's such a sweetheart and I love him dearly. Problem is, I wouldn't know where to get it. I wouldn't want it on my back anywhere-I'd like to be able to see it! But that leaves the most sensitive areas-chest, stomach, and pelvic area. Those are hurty for girls and tattoos. I could get it on a bicep or forearm, though. I'll probably wait until I have a better hold of my career to get it, though ;)

I've got a new one in mind lately. Based on two things. 1) My obsession with pin-up girls 2) my obsession with halloween :)

There is a classic pin-up image of a witch flying on a broom in front of a full moon. I want to update it and modify it into a partial sleeve on my bicep.
