i also had a question. how bad is the neck area? its not bony at all but its sensitive. i was thinking of getting a spider or a scorpion on my neck underneath my ear, but im afraid it will hurt really bad, and depending on the type of pain, i can be quite a wimp.

My ex boyfriend got a spider on his neck about half way down. The web was right behind his ear (you see it through his eyelet. His ears were guaged to an inch) going down the the spider. He said it wasn't that painful. It went numb after a bit, but it was irritated really easily and he picked at the scabs like a moron and now there are holes in the spider.

I am wondering. Do any of you guys have tattoos on your lower stomach/hipbone area? I really want to get a rose on one side and a bumble bee on the other, but I've been thinking over the last few months that it may not be such a good idea as I plan on having kids (prob not for another ten years, but still). Does anyone know if that area will be stretched badly and deform tattoos there? The bumble bee would be small. Less than 2 cm long. The rose would be more like an inch and a half in diameter or around that size. I'm just wondering if anyone has one or knows someone who has one that has had kids and if they stretched.

I have heard that your tatoos on your stomach/hipbone area stretch if you get pregnant.
I relate it to if you get a tatoo, and then gain alot of weight.
your skin obviously has to stretch to accomidate everything, so the tatoo will stretch as well.

When I turn 18 I plan on getting a tatoo of a very colorful frog to represent my friend who recently passed away from cancer. Its either going to be surrounded by a bunch of cancer ribbons or have a big ribbon intertwined in its legs. If I get the bunch of little ones, they will each be a different color that symbolize some type of cancer she had. And if I get a big one I'll use the same colored ribbons but the ribbon will like fade into each one. And then of course I'll have her r.i.p date.

I'm getting this on the small of my back this Thursday..I'm VERY excited...I always liked the look of "Tramp stamps" but I wanted something sort-of off-putting from that idea :)

I've also always loved octopuses...Many, many reasons, the most obvious being I was a big Veruca Salt fan in my early teen years (still am, but not as much) and their album name "Eight Arms to Hold You" felt very fitting to me being that I am an extremely clingy person :)

My husband is getting this:

A rendering of the rabbit spirit El-Ahrairah from the Watership Down..

I also plan to eventually get a tattoo in honor of my father who died when I was seven, one of a friend who died last year, and one in honor of my husband...All requires lotsa money though, so it will wait...hehe :)

My lower stomach hurt, but the hip bone, not so much for some reason. But others have said it hurt [?].
In regards to the stretching, I've asked that question [since they're on my stomach] and they said it will probably stretch, but be sure to take care of it [use a shea butter lotion-it helps with stretch marks]. But I think it also depends on your frame. I know quite a few people that are just as small as me, and they're still ABSOLUTELY tiny!
Also, your tattoos don't sound very big, so I wouldn't really be too worried.

Finally done!!! Not the greatest picture, but it works...

It's on my right shoulder/bicep. Now for the other side. Then I'll have a total of 4 tattoos.

Thats beautiful. I love the colors of the Dias De Los Muertos skeleton and skull tattoos. They're so vibrant.

Thanks...picture is a bit fuzzy, too. It's by far the nicest tattoo I have. Plus, it's brand new, so it's super colorful.
